Dr. Ivy Nelson is a Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) and Certified Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluator (CCRE). She serves on the CoSN Belonging and Inclusion Committee, where she advocates for improving collaboration, support, and belonging in the EdTech profession. Dr. Nelson has been inducted into the CoSN Volunteer Hall of Fame for her service to CoSN. She has published research on female CTOs and is passionate about narrowing the gender gap within the profession. Dr. Nelson has served in public education for 16 years as a teacher and instructional technology leader. She is the Instructional Technology Manager for the Belton School District in Missouri, and is passionate about using technology to inspire and enrich learning for all.
