I have been the Senior Data Systems Analyst in Albemarle County Public Schools' Department of Technology since December 2019. I have been part of the Department of Technology's Cultural Awareness team since it was conceived in 2021.

My entire career has revolved around data and data analytics. The only thing that has changed is the subject matter - international employment laws, accounting products and membership, and now students. Working for a public school system for the last 5 years has been the most rewarding job by far. I've also been lucky enough to have employers that put care and emphasis on learning about and creating a culturally aware work environment. This gives me the opportunity to finally use that anthropology degree!
