Chris Deis is the Chief Technology Officer at Grandview Heights Schools located in Central Ohio, Chris oversees the technology department and the integration of technology for staff and students. Guided by the district’s strategic plan, Chris focuses on enhancing staff capacity to deliver personalized learning. Under Chris's leadership, the district has embraced 1:1 devices for K-12, implemented learning management systems, various online learning platforms, and strengthened cybersecurity practices. Chris began his career teaching grades 5-8 in Central Ohio, progressing to an instructional coordinator in a large suburban district. His role evolved to include technology integration, leading to his recruitment as IT Director & CIO in a neighboring district. After five years, Chris joined Grandview Heights as CTO. He holds a BS in Education, an MA in Education Administration, a Superintendent License, and is a Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL).
