Kathleen Stephany, MS, CETL is the Director of Information & Technology for the School District of Holmen (WI). Before she joined Holmen, she served as a Technology Integration Specialist, Library Media Specialist, and Instructional Support Teacher. Kathleen is a lead member of the District Technology Team, showcasing her passion for exploring and sharing new technologies with students and staff alike. Kathleen is actively involved in various educational technology initiatives. She serves as the chair of Wisconsin Educational Technology Leaders (WETL) and is a dedicated member of CoSN's Emerging Technologies Committee and CoSN AI Committee. Her contributions extend to national conferences, where she has presented on topics such as virtual reality at SLATE and Education 2030: Robotics and AI at CoSN. Furthermore, Kathleen has been instrumental in fostering opportunities for girls in coding and technology. She initiated programs such as WIT4Girls, Microsoft DigiGirlz, and Girls who Code in the Oshkosh Area School District. Her involvement in organizations like Women in Technology, Wisconsin, Inc., NEW CS Advisory Board, & NEW Digital Alliance underscores her commitment to advancing technology education.
