David W Fringer is a consultant representing the Association of Education Service Agencies. David . is a life-long learner with over 30 years of service in public education. He started FRINDAV Consulting after retiring as Executive Director of Media & Technology Services for Green Hills AEA in Southwest Iowa.
Mr. Fringer began his career as a classroom teacher in the Omaha Nebraska Public Schools. After attending graduate school, he served in various leadership capacities in Nebraska & Iowa school districts including Building technology Coordinator, Supervisor of Assessment for Loess Hills Area Education Agency, Chief Technology Officer for the Council Bluffs Community School District and Executive Director of Technology & Media for Green Hills Area Education Agency.
David has wide ranging experience including leading large scale technology infrastructure projects, day-to-day operations of technology services, digital learning initiatives, student information systems projects, and entrepreneurial projects. He has served on various industry groups including the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) Forum, Google EDU Think Tank, Metropolitan Omaha Education Consortium Technology Committee, Iowa Urban Education Network Technology Team, and Iowa AEA Media & Technology Directors. Mr. Fringer is also a Certified Teacher for Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIY Global) and has facilitated numerous leadership workshops across the United States.
Mr. Fringer is a graduate of UN-Omaha and earned his Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from UN-Lincoln.
David is an advocate for regional educational service agencies. He seeks to share his relevant experience with anyone and everyone in support of public education. Mr. Fringer strives to create relationships and extend his significant network to those he serves. He lives in Omaha Nebraska with his wife Nancy close to their 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
