With a distinguished career in educational technology leadership, the individual has achieved numerous accolades and held significant positions. They earned the Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL) certification in 2017 and were named Chief Information Officer of the Year by the Charlotte Business Journal in 2016. That same year, they co-founded the North Carolina chapter of the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). Earlier recognitions include being named one of the Top 30 Technologists, Transformers, and Trailblazers in 2015, and receiving the first Women in School Leadership national award from the American Association of School Administrators in 2011. They have served on various educational and technological boards, including the Board of Directors for CoSN, the National Dropout Prevention Center/Network, and the Educational Advisory Board for Goddard Schools, reflecting a career dedicated to advancing educational technology and leadership.
