Rachell is the director of an assistive technology (AT) ACT Program, the SC AT Program (SCATP). She has 19+ years of experience in the field of speech-language pathology and has been an AT specialist since 2011. Rachell is an ASHA certified SLP and a recipient of ASHA’s ACE award. Shel has her assistive technology professional (ATP) license through RESNA. Rachell has served as an AT Consultant for persons of all ages in Minnesota and previously served as the AT Program Manager for the DC Maryland and Virginia Chapter of the ALS Association helping to open one of the nation's first free standing AT clinics for those with ALS. She served as AT Team Lead providing AT services for over 22 schools in SC. Rachell has 3 journal publications and has presented at 9 national AT conferences and other state conferences for AAC and AT.
